Wire identity
We often get asked about the origins of the symbols we use for our identity. Are they flowers? Are the snowflakes? Actually, they are cross-sections of wire cables. Warrington is also fondly known as the ‘Wire’ due to its wire manufacturing history and we thought these symbols would well represent our history, and a sense of place and suggest the characteristics of innovation, creativity and hard work that Wire exemplifies. They also look nice.
